2018 年，Google 宣布關(guān)閉消費(fèi)者版本的 Google+，保留企業(yè)版本 Google+ for G Suite。2019 年，Google 發(fā)布了 Currents，本質(zhì)上它就是改名換姓的 Google+ for G Suite。

其功能類似微軟的 Yammer 和 Facebook with Workplace，向企業(yè)提供一個(gè)內(nèi)部討論和發(fā)布公告的論壇。但與此同時(shí)，Google 仍然保留了 Google+。

現(xiàn)在，根據(jù)一封發(fā)送給 G Suite 管理員的郵件，Google 宣布它將于 7 月 6 日關(guān)閉 Google+ for G Suite，之后用戶將沒有辦法退出 Currents 或返回 Google+。

Google+ 移動應(yīng)用將會自動升級為 Currents，Google+ 現(xiàn)有的所有鏈接將重定向到 Currents。Google+ 將徹底消失。
